Luckily I woke up at 8am to finish my Marine Biology. I felt pretty lousy. I barely got it done and went to class. I did a better job staying awake than I thought I would. Perhaps that’s because I was writing a blog and writing a follow up paper for Life and Culture.
I only had class until 11 or so and then went back to bed. We did have a field trip for marine bio but it was optional to pay to SCUBA or snorkel at Julian Rocks. I didn’t want to pay the money to snorkel and I will be diving twice on Friday (to finish my certification) so I just stayed home. I took a bit over and hour nap and then got ready to go lay out. As soon as I sunscreened up and everything, Tracy and Angie came over to make Mike’s birthday rice crispy treats. They don’t have regular marshmallows here so the treats turned out a little fruity tasting. Imagine rice crispy treats made with fruit loops? They looked lovely though. haha.
I hung out in the cabin for a while—doing homework and such then got ready for dinner. We went to the Indian restaurant for Mike’s birthday since Craig, Angie and Tracy will all be in Melbourne tomorrow night for the weekend. It was good. I had this spicy coconut chicken thing...though I couldn’t really taste any coconut.
After dinner Tracy and I went back to get the cake crispies ready. We all played euchre and UNO until I was too tired to do anything else.
